Through His Eyes is a deeply personal exploration of light, shadow, faith, and emotion, created through an intricate layering of glass, delicate lace, enamels, and fine glass frit.
More than three months in the making, this sculpture challenged me both technically and artistically. Each firing brought new discoveries, uncertainties, and decisions. One of the greatest challenges was achieving the darkness I envisioned, knowing that once glass reaches a certain depth of color, there is no turning back.
